Heartcatch Pretty Cure Oshare Collection - The Second Sewing Machine

I know it's weird since it may be seen as a let's play (and I should do a LP of Oshare Collection), but this...is different; For one, I'm not starting this off with the intro and making clothes for Tsubomi; As you can see from the picture at the left, Tsubomi's wearing a polka-dotted orange dress and shoes and an orange striped hairband...all with pink bows on them. I don't know why, but these look normal on Tsubomi; I doubt they'd look good on Erika (the blue-haired girl).

Would you be surprised if I told you there was a second sewing machine in Oshare Collection? You can find it by going to town then tapping the picture that has clothing on it. You'll know if it's the right one if the preview image beside Tsubomi is of the sewing machine.

When you enter the sewing machine "game", you'll arrive in the Work Room, but it's different; For example, instead of the Cure FruMix (the strawed cup-like thing the fairies use), there's a curtain in the corner.

  This curtain takes you to what looks like the room you dress up the girls in, but there's no 3D model on the top screen of the girls and the game never asks which one you want to dress up. The sewing machine takes you through a two-step process; Pick a special shirt (the Japanese text sometimes has the letter 'T' visible, so maybe they're special 'T'-shirts?) then choose a color for it. There aren't many colors for these, usually 4 colors, but after you choose a color, it's sewing time! After sewing what seems like a smaller shirt (it takes less time to make one of these), you get...a number.

Now, I don't know Japanese, so I don't know what the game's talking about, but that number on the top screen is suspicious; Was there a contest or something where you could send in a number? It's not a password since this game uses pictures of flowers for it...or so I thought!

You see, the text reads:

このTシゃツのパスワードですま

According to Google Translate, this translates to:

This counter is the password for this T Shi~yatsu

AKA "This number is the password for this T-Shirt"!

That means this is a password, but not a normal password; The password screen doesn't have numbers though it does have six image slots! You enter pictures of flowers, hearts, and other girl stuff, but again, not numbers!

There's another screen you can get to from the title screen but it isn't a screen for entering these passwords. It has two numbers, a one digit number then a two digit number; The first goes from 0-9 and the second goes from 0-59; I don't know what this is, and since I don't know Japanese, I don't exactly know what Chypre is saying (shown in screenshot).

I don't know what the first Jpaanese symbol is, so I guessed some odd symbol, but changing it to another one that barely resembles it didn't fix anything; I thought Chypre said:

キゅうけいするまでの
じかんをキめるですぅ

Google Translate turns this into:

The Suu Ki in the Under Secretary of Mel until Ki~yuu Kei

I don't even know what this means; Google recommends this:

キゅうけいするまでの 時間を決めるですぅ
The Suu By determining the time to Ki~yuu Kei

"Determining the time"? I don't know what that means since, well, it only goes up to 9, and, well, if it was AM/PM, I'd see that, and if it was 24-hour (AKA weird) time, it'd go up to 24, but it just goes up to 9!

I don' know what changing it does, but it is saved when you exit the menu.

Speaking of the autosave message that quickly flashes at the top of the screen, it says:

セーブしてるよ でんげんをきちないでね
I do not known the power I'll have to save

AKA "Saving. Do not turn the power off".

I don't know why they made the message a banner like the one when you're in a tutorial. If only someone would translate Oshare Collection, but you don't need to know Japanese to play it!

 Also, Tsubomi (and Yuri--I mean NOTHING) says "HAA~?" at the end of every question she asks, so I wanted to find out what she really was saying. It turns out she's saying "ka?" but she says the 'a' part longer than expected like how Chypre says "desu~u"; Chypre doesn't say "desu" fast like Coffret does; She says it slower and it makes her sound cuter; This doesn't apply to Tsubomi, though; I think the "KAA~?" thing is a bit unnecessary.

In the process, I also found Google's best translation (though according to it, the game didn't use correct Japanese). Here it is in picture form!

Add libraries back into Windows 8!

In Windows 7, Microsoft decided to add a feature that made it easier to organize folders; They, however, got rid of the ability to access your user folder (unless you go through the C drive and the Users folder). In Windows 8, Microsoft did what seems to be a throwback to Windows XP where they put links to your user folders in This PC; The same problem that libraries had is still present, however; It didn't really "take" you to your user folder.

Libraries were just as bad with the whole locking-you-into-the-folder thing.

When you select a "This PC" 'folder', Windows forces you to stay in it!

 As you can see, Windows 8's system, in comparison to Windows 7's equivilent, is pretty bad, but then again, this is the same version of Windows that introduced the infamous metro interface. The thing is, what about if I told you the better libraries system was still in Windows 8?

Yep; You heard that right; The libraries system is still in Windows 8! If you want it back, click or tap View in the ribbon, then Navigation Pane > Show libraries. When you do this, the libraries will appear at in the 'navigation pane' above Network (Yep; It's at the bottom, as if Microsoft never wants you to use it!). It's in the worst possible position, however; It should be above Homegroup like it was in Windows 7.

 

  It almost seems like Microsoft didn't want you to use it, but at the same time, it seems like they wanted you to; When you have libraries visible and start File Explorer (what Microsoft renamed Windows Explorer to), rather than showing you This PC, it will show your list of libraries just like it did in Windows 7, minus the little 'This is your list of libraries; Choose one to enter it' message at the top.

You can still create additional libraries by right-clicking and choosing New > Library and you can edit them using the Manage tab in the ribbon.

To hide the libraries, do the same thing you did to 'show' them. You can pin libraries or the list of libraries (even if you have libraries hidden) by right-clicking them and choosing "Pin to Start".

Certain Microsoft-made apps change slightly when you have libraries 'shown'; The Pictures app says "Pictures library" instead of "Pictures" and OneDrive says "Libraries" where "This PC" once was.

In conclusion, Microsoft, regardless of whether they intended or didn't intend libraries to be shown, did something right...for once.

The Straw Wrapper

Today, I recorded voice acting for the newest scene where (spoiler) Arthas and Uther find a little girl (who seems weird-looking to them). Mary (the little girl with the pink dress) gets a strawberry smoothie at a weird drink place. I was originally going to have the straw already in the cup, but then I realized straws aren't usually just handed to you normally, but they rather have a paper-thing (I call it a wrapper in the movie) around it the straw.

Mary would be seen holding the cup and the wrapper separately until the camera goes back to her, when she'll be seen sucking the straw. You're probably wondering what the wrapper itself looks like, though, right?

The wrapper is white with blue outlines. It has "BOB'S DRINKS" on it in Roboto Slab, Google Keep's font, plus, since it's a kid's straw (that's why it's a bendy straw), it has that written on it in a cute font/color.

It also has a heart with a star on each side added for extra cuteness, since everything the little girls hold will look cute; This is placed on each end and in the middle.

Since the straws are the main part of Mary's story, she'll be seen holding this before she uses the straw. Jane might be seen holding it too since she can use normal straws (the red ones) too, but she'll never use the striped (magical) straws, even if I make art showing her sucking the straw or holding it.

Also, in case you're curious, here's what Mary sounds like when she cries:

This is mostly from the Doom hack I'm making based on the movie except for the last two cries, which are from the movie itself; The sounds are from:

1. Doom hack: low health pain #1
2. Doom hack: straw magical powers ran out #1 (It originally said "Magical powers? Where'd you go? *cries*)
3. Doom hack: large monster kill insult #1 (she cries for the enemy until she realizes she shouldn't cry for it)
4. Movie: Mary runs away from Arthas and Uther after they creep her out

Is the crying annoying? They do this a lot, so expect to hear this any time something bad happens to the cute little things. In case you're curious, I say "WAHHHH" in a high-pitched voice with some sort of emphasis on it...it's hard to explain how I do it, but I can do it consistently!

 

Wallpapers!

After making that cute wallpaper of the two girls, I decided I wanted to make more. Here are two; Click them then right-click the picture that appears to save them, then...look on another site if you need help setting your wallpaper!

This is the first wallpaper I decided to make, showing Arthas and Uther holding items standing on a rock ground that goes into darkness.

Arthas is holding his sword and Uther's holding a baby bottle (from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic).

Also, you saw it before, but here's the World of Kirbycraft logo, the World of Warcraft logo with Kirby slapped onto it, so to speak.

The second wallpaper I made is a rather sad picture if you liked the little girls I was making (and still will, don't worry).

It's in a hospital with Nurse Kitty faking being a nurse. She chose the wrong time to pretend to be one, since, as you can see, in her hands is the first little girl I made, dead. Her friend is in the background worried if she'll come back...

It isn't the prettiest of scenes, so if you want a better picture of the little girls, go here.

I'll make more wallpapers, but that's all for now!

Oh yeah...actually, I made another wallpaper some time ago when I finished the first little girl. It shows the little girl doing various things.

She's shown (left to right) looking concerned, mad, crying, jumping happily, waving, and drinking. Also, in the background, she can be seen flying to her (possible) death, which could be tied in to the wallpaper bove, though it's not supposed to be. Okay, this is all of them for real this time.

Another little girl...

After creating my first child female character, I decided I'd need more than just one little girl, and if anything, they couldn't all just look like recolors, so with that, I give you another little girl!

She's got red pigtails (rather than blonde long hair) with green bows attached near each end of the hair. She wears overalls with a green shirt underneath, and the overalls has a thing on the front with a heart on it along with a pocket beneath it.

She also wears brown shoes, so she has that sort of "country look".

Her face is no different than the other little girl, except for her eyes; This girl's eyes are blue while the other girl's are brown.

She can show every emotion the other girl can show, due to her face being unchanged. Here, you can see her crying due to her bottle (really?) falling over and spilling milk.

Although she is a little girl like the other one, she doesn't do the same things. For example, the other girl (spoiler!) learns about the "magical straws" and therefore drinking is an important part of her, but this girl doesn't have to drink.

This doesn't mean she won't ever be seen sucking straws; Here's a picture of her with the Love Juice Box. Here, you can see her eyes are blue and how similar her face is to the other girl's.

In case you were gross enough to wonder how precise the straw is moved into the girls' mouths, it isn't really right at the edge of the mouth; If zoomed in enough, you can see it doesn't reach the outline of the mouth.

Even from this distance, you can see it doesn't go all the way in, though it won't matter since the camera won't, if rarely, zoom in this close on the mouth.

In the next picture, you can see how precise it is and how her mouth's not a perfect circle while drinking.

Also, it demonstrates an odd thing Anime Studio does when you zoom in: At further distances, outlines are bigger while as you zoom in, the outlines become thinner.

 

Also, although unseen here, lines also become lower quality when zoomed out, showing, for example, circles turning into octagons.

Anyways, this part was gross and disgusting, but since I have this obsession, I figure you'd like to see how far I go into detail with the straws and, for that matter, the girls.

So, you might be wondering: Are these (and all future) children going to be friends? Yes, In fact, an idea was given to me about having a childrens' show or something using these characters; Maybe I could get a doll of the girls I've made if it was popular enough!

Little Girl (Mary) character is finished!

 

Hi. I'm new around here... I'm a little girl. Where's Xane at?

Well, her front side, at least; She'll need rotations to be usable in scenes or else she'll constantly be staring at the screen.

She is capable of showing happiness, sadness, anger, and...crying. Yes, crying; You didn't hear that incorrectly. The picture to the left shows her face when she's crying. Her mouth constantly distorts and looks overall messed up and (although not shown here) tears fly out of her eyes!

Normally, her eyes are covered up by her hands, but here, she's seen crying without them. Just be glad you don't have to hear her cry.

The thing is, I can't do Kitty's voice anymore. Her voice is too high-pitched for me now, so her voice has to be sped up manually.

The Little Girl's voice is slightly lower pitched but sounds calmer than Kitty's voice.

One thing worries me about her, though, and that's her crying; If you don't realize, I have to make that noise! How am I going to sound? I hope it's not too unbearable; If you want to hear what Kitty's crying sounded like, watch this video around 26:40.

 Here's more pictures of her and her (unfinished) cup! The cup's based on the Pink Alien's cup (which I will show you eventually). The difference between them right now is that the little girl's cup has a normal lid and is lighter in color, while the Pink Alien's has a dome lid and is a darker pink color.

Also, one of the pictures shows her making that face she always makes when drinking out of strawed cups. If you haven't realized already, she closes her eyes halfway and makes an "O"-shaped mouth slightly to the right side of her face. She keeps this face until she lets go of the straw.

"Little girl" in the Making!

It all starts with the straw...

The little girl started as a bald girl with eyes based on the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic baby pony's eyes, but she expanded from that.

I mentioned a cup, and even though it isn't finished now, the straw has begun development. It is a red bendy straw that has two forms, normal and "bit". Normal is the typical straw shape (in this movie, that's a rectangle) while "bit" has the end looking a bit "chewed up" by being in the little girl's mouth. (she must bite the straw while she sucks on it or something!)

There's also another version that, due to my obsession with cups/straws, is included in the first place: It's a little message (visible in the picture above) written on the straw itself that says "Wrap mouth around straw and suck here" with an arrow. This is a "beginner" straw, which shows, for some reason, that this girl somehow doesn't know how a straw works and needs instructions.

Later in the movie, the normal version will be used instead to show that she's learned how to do such an easy task!

The pink alien also has her own cup, though I plan to try to make this girl's cup different, so you won't think "why doesn't she just go and get a cup where that weird alien girl gets them?"

Now, you might be thinking "But what about the juice boxes like the 'love juice box' and the normal one?" Well, they're still going to be used, but for different characters; Kitty might use the normal juice box, and although this little girl might be seen using it, she'll most likely be seen with this cup/straw.

In the last picture, the message on the straw and the "bit" version (note the end) are clearly visible, showing she's nearly done sucking on this straw.

It's a gross and slightly embarrassing topic, but what? It's my weird obsession I have.

"Little girl" in the Making!

Characters in World of Kirbycraft - Arthas

World of Kirbycraft will most likely be an unreleased movie, but that won't stop me from telling you about each character currently planned to be in the movie here, starting with Arthas!

 

Arthas, a kirby that does everything "for honor".

Arthas is a kirby that was once human, fighting off the undead armies with the (lack of) help from Uther, who later (uncanon information starts here!) betrays the humans.

He was doing nothing in his homeworld, the "World of Warcraft", until he heard a voice saying he's his "best nightmare", and Arthas, though suspicious, flies into a interdimensional portal that takes him to Earth. Arthas hates Earth and wants to get back, and only Xane can let him go back; He must enter a (pointless) tournament to return back home.

This repeats a second time (AKA the second movie) and then Arthas has had enough; He kills Xane and turns to the dark side.

And with that, Arthas is (spoiler) on the dark side and he, like Uther, betrays the humans, joining the undead (seen in movie #2, an unreleased World of Kirbycraft movie) and killing the innocent.

Arthas does things "for honor", no matter what "honor" means; If it means good, he'll do it, and if it's bad, nothing can stop him from making it happen.

However, since he had joined the Undead, Uther became friends with Arthas. Although they are on the same side, that doesn't stop them from fighting. Arthas always wins, however, though the fights change nothing.

Later on, after returning to Earth once again, a mysteriousblue light is claimed to be flashing, scaring people, and Arthas, although being on the Undead side which is known for evil, decides he still must help people for honor.

He later (spoiler) encounters the Wii after beating every Nintendo system (minus the Virtual Boy). The Wii and Arthas fight until the Wii's close to death. The Wii decides to join Arthas' side and goes to kill Nintendo, saying he hates them for preventing installation of homebrew software, then Arthas blows up Earth with bombs and returns to his home, the "World of Warcraft", once again.

Arthas has a sword he brings out to kill stuff. It's very pointy and has a blue end to it.

Also, in case the latest movie is released, spoilers here for it so far:

Arthas and Uther are glad to be back home, but Arthas wants adventure and Uther's fine with that. After jumping on their stars, they fly away to Hell City, or so they thought; Arthas started being a showoff and hit a tree, "defeating" him (knocking him unconcience in Kirby-style).

After getting waked up by Uther, he understands what happened and goes to get the Wii, only to get intercepted by the Undead themselves, still seeing Arthas and Uther as a threat. Uther beats their challenge and they move on to find Wii unconsience. Uther can't believe its happened, but Arthas has a gross idea, the Love Juice Box; If they both suck the straws coming out of each end of the juice box, they can revive the Wii.

Uther eventually goes through with it and Wii comes back to life.

Latest stuff going on

Recently, we went to Ocean City (Maryland), and the typical "walking up the boardwalk" and visiting the beach happened, but two things relating to images happened and it may interest you. They are random, though, so they might not.

On Pandora, I heard a Red Hot Chili Peppers song named "Aeroplane", which made me think that they must not be American if they use British spelling (ours is "airplane").

I shared the song, then I realized how cute the album art was. Most album (cover) art is not cute, but rather tries to look serious; RHCP (Red Hot Chili peppers)' album One Hot Minute shows a cute little girl with red hait/eyes wearing a pink dress playing the piano. That's cute in itself, but the song also ahs cchildren singing along, which, when combining the two, makes it really cute to look at.

Also, when the remote to the TV (which was not to it, so to speak) worked, the channel was changed to some Public Access or whatever it's called, something I haven't seen since cable!

What it is is a never-ending loop of information telling you about events/locations/laws/etc. At one part, it tells you about the tram schedules, and one odd image appears on all 3, using a more childish font (more rounded.). It is a circle with the letter B (though I thought I saw an A once) in it along with unreadable text below it. It is colored blue.

It clashes with the rest of the "show" because it uses a different font, while the rest uses a font more like Times New Roman, so to speak, while other parts use a normal font; This font is seen nowhere else (and it isn't Comic Sans MS).

I feel like this could be a common sign I have never heard of, as it may be similar to road signs (eg, the stop, yield, no  right turn, one way, and so on). I'll have to get a closer picture, though, since this isn't my capture card, which I got that improved Kai-lan crying picture with, it won't be any higher quality. I was hoping to find the real picture using this one, but it's too blue-tinted by the camera taking a picture of the screen!

Unnecessary detail: GO!

Do you remember this girl? She started off as an idea came true with only a head and flowery dress, though, since then, that's changed.

In fact, since last time, this cutie has got additional detail! Do you see it? If you noticed the slight blush on her cheeks or the lines in her hair, you know how to look for detail. She also has gotten ears, though they are only circles on the sides of her face for now.

Also, her hands now have another...bad gesture that can be used if this girl is mad, making the total hand positions to 4: opened, closed, pointing, and the finger.

Her mouth has also been modified, adding extra mouth positions. She started off with only smiling frames (open and closed variants), though today, I've added frowning versions, as seen in the first picture. She also has a "o" mouth and a "drinking" mouth used when she sucks on straws (as shown in the picture to the right of this text).

At first glance, the "o" and "drinking" mouths look nearly identical, but a difference between them is that the drinking mouth is slightly to the right of where the "o" is, which is in the center of her face.

Also, shoes are being made for her feet, though they are not finished yet; They are the same color as her dress though they lack any detail, which is bad since that clashes with the detailed style of the other parts of her body.

Her feet without the shoes look like curved pipes,hilariously enough. This girl is hard to make due to how both sides of her body are mirrored; This is the case with her hair as well, when I had to carefully line up each side with the other to make sure it was aligned with the other side, Also, her eyes are obviously flipped, unlike a kirby I haven't shown you.
